How does it work?

Talon Designs will set up a dedicated database to store all of the information about your site including text, formatting, images, page layout and many other settings. This database is what populates the content of each of your pages and also allows you to make your own updates.

You will have your own administrative login information that gives you direct access to your pages and allows you to update and configure them however you like. Modifying the database information will immediately update your site. We have developed an easy to use interface to make updating your site quick and easy.

How much do I have to know about programming?

None. The system we have developed does all the coding for you. There are no programming, database, coding, scripting, etc. requirements necessary to use our system. If you can navigate our web site, you will be able to use our system. It really is that easy.

What kind of limitations are there?

We have developed our system to allow you to completely control your site. You can have as many pages as you can dream up, enter as much text as you'd care to type and use your own imagery. You even have the control to add additional user accounts and set permission levels to your account. We are constantly updating our system adding more and more features giving our clients more control. If you can't change something that you'd like to, just let us know and we'll make it happen.

When we upgrade, you upgrade!

We designed our system in such a way that everybody uses the same interface to update their site. This is a huge bonus to our clients. Anytime we upgrade our base system to handle something new for a client, all of our current clients are upgraded as well. Your site grows just from being a client of ours.

How much does it cost?

Cost is determined by many different factors. Unfortunately, we can't provide static costs because each client requires a different level of design and interaction. You will find that our prices are very reasonable and considerably lower than other design firms for the amout of customization we provide. A simple website can be completed for as low as $500, and complex sites can exceed $10,000. Much of the cost is dependent on how much of the start-up work you are willing to do yourself. If you provide your own graphics and enter your own content, the costs will be considerably lower.

NO recurring fees!

We believe you shouldn't have to continue paying for something that you've already purchased. Once your site is up and running, there are no additional charges to use our system. Even when we upgrade, you will not be charged.

The only additional charges you will have are hosting fees. These may come from us if you host your site with us, but you are welcome to host your site with any pre-approved hosting provider. There are certain requirements of the hosting server for our system to work properly. Please check with us before choosing or changing your hosting provider.
